Maybelline Super Stay 14hr Lipstick Review

I purchased this Saturday to wear with a new black dress I bought so I decided to do a review on it.

I have the color "Ravishing Rouge". I do like it, but I did find it to feel rather drying on my lips so I needed to apply a lip balm under it (which I typically do with all my lipsticks because I find they go on smoother) as well as a moisturizing lip gloss over top, with the gloss it felt much better on my lips.

It claims it can lasts 14hr's, I don't believe this. I put it on before leaving for church Sunday morning and after coming home and eating and drinking soda at lunch it had all but disappeared. So maybe if you don't eat or drink anything it would last that long but not if you eat and drink things.

One thing I do quite like that I wasn't expecting is that this particular color smells like cherry. It doesn't make any claims to that so that was quite a nice surprise.

Here is a swatch of the color, it isn't quite this bright on the lips but it is pretty close. On the lips it's a slightly deeper red, but not by much. I do like the color of this though if you don't enjoy a bright lipstick this may not be the color for you.

So would I purchase another Super Stay 14hr lipstick from Maybelline? Maybe. Although it does feel drying and doesn't last as long as it claims it actually doesn't seem to truly dry out my lips and it does have a nice color. And also as I mentioned I enjoy the scent of this one.

Getting my Belly Button Pierced

I researched and found a awesome tattoo shop called Golden Spiral Tattoo, I totally recommend them btw. I went with my fiance and we told them what we were there for and I gave them my ID and signed the papers after the piercing artist did a short 'consultation' which was basically just looking at and feeling my belly button area. She told me because I bend right at my belly button when I sit and stuff I would need to be sure to sit up straight, but it looked good and she could do it. We went back with her to a little room and she cleaned around my belly button and marked where to pierce with her maker and measured the area. She had a few different belly rods I guess? laying out for me to choose from so I chose a small diamond looking one (pictured obviously lol) and she sanitized it. Loreal True Match Foundation Review

I've had this for a few months now so I decided it was time to do a review. I have the color Alabaster which is a cool shade. It actually matches my skin tone perfectly so that's a really big plus. This lasts all day long, but on me it doesn't really help all that much with my skin getting oily/shiny looking. I actually think this might make my skin look MORE shiny because it has a bit of a dewy finish (which is great if your skin isn't already oily). That being said I do like this, but I'm not sure I'll repurchase it because of the shine factor but I think if you have normal or dry skin then this would be something good to try and they have plenty of shades so it's a good chance you'll be able to find your skin tone.
