I got these a few months ago as part of my birthday gift so I thought it was about time I review them. I got the Covergirl Lip Lava in Mauva Lauva (red) and Look it's lava! (hot pink). Look it's Lava! Mauva Lauva I actually really like these. They have really pretty color to them and they have pretty good lasting power, I can drink a Mtn Dew Kickstart and although it definitely transfers onto the can I still have the full color on my lips. It does NOT last through eating though, so you'd absolutely need to reapply after a meal. I will also admit it smells like paint to me, that isn't a huge issue cause after a few seconds it's not noticeable, but it does happen. They're also a very thick formula so if you don't like that kinda thing, it might not be for you. Persoanlly though, I'd definitely buy them again. :)

This is another lip gloss I got for my birthday. I had been wanting a new light pink color and found this one while looking at make up at Walmart. I actually picked out 3 different light pink colors and then let my boyfriend and dad pick one, and of course, being men, they picked the most natural looking color. I have to say, I actually quite like this gloss. It has a very pretty color and I like the tingling feeling it creates on my lips. That's something I've only experienced with a lip plumper and a sunscreen lip balm. This isn't marketed as a lip plumper, but it does create that tingling feeling for some reason. This also has pretty good lasting power, not when eating and drinking, but honestly I haven't found very many things that last through that. I've actually gotten some compliments wearing this as well, so apparently others like it as well.

I had no idea I was wearing so much from the same brand though. lol I opted for no makeup at all since we were playing tennis, I didn't want my pores to get clogged with it. It was quite fun, although I can't play tennis to save my life. lol Hopefully I will get better with practice. :) (PS sorry the last picture isn't totally clear, I don't know what happened) 

So whilst birthday shopping I was on the hunt for a new bronzer. I haven't really been too into using them in the past because with my skin being so light, I have been afraid of it making me look orange. With that in mind I was looking for something with a dark enough color to give me a slightly tanned look, but with light enough color I didn't look orange. The solution? Finding a bronzer with a mixture of colors. I managed to find a few and this one from NYC caught my attention. It wasn't overly pricey, and had a very nice mixture of colors. I have to say I really like it, it does exactly what I wanted, if I mix the colors together then tap off the brush then I get the right amount of color so that I don't look too dark, just nicely tan and glowy. Today I decided to do a review on the Maybelline Mega Plush Volume Express Mascara,  I've had it for about a month now so I thought it was time. Let me just say, it really really like the effect this has on my lashes, it makes them very long a fluttery, however, I do wish that the applicator was smaller, with the same effect. I have smallish eyes and the applicator is about the size of my eyes, so that means I tend to get mascara on my eyelids and under my eyes when I apply it, which especially if you are wearing eyeshadow,  is quite irritating. Also it flakes and gets mascara bits on my cheeks sometimes after awhile of wearing it by itself. Other than that though I do quite like the effect it has, like I said, and would probably buy it again at some point.
