Maybelline Super Stay 14hr Lipstick Review

I purchased this Saturday to wear with a new black dress I bought so I decided to do a review on it. I have the color "Ravishing Rouge". I do like it, but I did find it to feel rather drying on my lips so I needed to apply a lip balm under it (which I typically do with all my lipsticks because I find they go on smoother) as well as a moisturizing lip gloss over top, with the gloss it felt much better on my lips. It claims it can lasts 14hr's, I don't believe this. I put it on before leaving for church Sunday morning and after coming home and eating and drinking soda at lunch it had all but disappeared. So maybe if you don't eat or drink anything it would last that long but not if you eat and drink things. One thing I do quite like that I wasn't expecting is that this particular color smells like cherry. It doesn't make any claims to that so that was quite a nice surprise. Here is a swatch of the color, it isn't quite this bright

Liquid vs. Gel eyeliner

Today I thought I would talk about liquid vs. gel eyeliner. I'll start with Liquid: Pro's: It creates a dramatic effect           With practice you can get very sharp clean lines Con's: It has to dry            If you don't allow it to dry fully it'll smudge and get everywhere            It can go a bit all over your face when you remove it and takes a while to get fully off            Now the Gel: Pro's: It doesn't need drying time           It's easier to apply and get the hang of           It can either give you sharp lines or be smudged out           Typically easier to remove than liquid           It doesn't smudge easily on it's own and go where you don't want it           Con's:  You generally need to buy a separate brush to apply it             Can still sometimes be hard to remove             Personally I prefer Gel over liquid (as you could probably tell), but what about you guys? Do you prefer Liquid

Wanna get better at doing eyeliner?

So I'm willing to bet at least a few of my readers struggle with putting on there eyeliner, particularly liquid eyeliner. If that sounds like you then read on... When I first started wearing make up I literally couldn't put on liquid eye liner properly to save my life, it always turned out horrible. But one day I realized something, I like to draw and also paint, putting on my eyeliner was actually like "painting" my face. With a bit of practice and a few more mistakes, I FINALLY got it right!! And since then I can always do it perfectly. So to you guys that have trouble with eyeliner, don't give up. Just keep trying and practicing and take it slow and I'm sure you guys will get it!! :) (Also a tip, if you are trying to wing it out, open up your eyes when you do the wing. That way you'll be able to see exactly where it'll be when your done.)

Bath and Body Malibu Heat Beach Waves Hair Mist Review

Hey guys!! Today I'm gonna review the Bath and Body Malibu Heat Beach Waves Hair Mist. I really like this product so this is actually the second time I've purchased this. It's supposed to give you beachy looking waves like after a day at the beach basically. Honestly I think it really works, my hair is naturally wavy, but this definitely adds more waves to it and also it just smells amazing. And it's so easy to use, you just spray it in and scrunch your hair with your hands till it's how you want it. This is also good if you just wanna add some texture to your hair. I used it in this picture so you guys can see how it looks :) This is definitely something you guys should consider purchasing whether you want beachy waves or just a little extra texture to your hair. :)

Quick tip: Do you have any make up brushes that used to work well but now don't?

Hey guys!! Sunday in a day I don't have a lot of time to write so I think on days like this i'm gonna start giving you guys a quick tip to help you out with your make up and things so today: Do you have any make up brushes that used to work well (even great) but don't anymore? Clean your brush well and see if you see an improvement :)

Sedona Lace Brushes Review

Hey guys!! Today i'm going to do a review on my Sedona Lace brushes. I have the 928 foundation brush as well as the 561 eyeliner brush. I'll start with the 928. I LOVE this brush. Before I got this I used to just rub my foundation in with my fingers which worked ok, but this just makes my foundation go on so smooth and flawlessly. It is also SUPER soft and doesn't have ANY fallout at all(and I've had this since Christmas).  Next is the 561. This is an excellent brush. I use it to do my gel eyeliner and it just gives me so much more control than using the brushes that come with liners. It lets you get really close to the lash line as well as slowly build up your color. This also works well for applying eyeshadow close to your upper and lower lash line. If you put it on the upper lash line this really gets it to look like a subtle eye liner. If you guys enjoyed this please follow me/subscribe :)

Bath and Body triple moisture body cream review

I bought these when I went on vacation a couple months ago because I got sunburned VERY badly and my bf complained about me using my coco butter lotion cause he didn't like the scent of it and proceeded to make fake gagging noises and move away. Guys... lol He loves all of these, but his favorite is the Coconut lime breeze.  From left to right is: Be enchanted, Coconut lime breeze, and Pink chiffon. Be enchanted is a very fruity berry scent that I quite like, while coconut lime breeze has a very strong lime scent. The Pink chiffon is kinda berry-like but not exactly, it is a  sweet scent though. Now I was told when I purchased these that one of them wasn't gonna be made anymore, it was either the Be enchanted or the Pink Chiffon. I believe it was the Pink chiffon. So I don't know if you can get your hands on it anymore so if not I'm sorry. These actually did an excellent job making my sunburn feel better and my skin feels insanely soft when I use these

Sedona Lace Gel Eyeliner Review

Hey guys!! Today I'm gonna do a review on the Sedona Lace Gel Eyeliner. Personally out of all the eyeliners I've tried (Pencils, liquids, gel) this is my favorite. I like that it doesn't take long to dry (really needs basically no drying time at all) as well as the fact that it lasts ALL day long without smudging or coming off. The color is great as well, I have the black one and it has really intense color. Another thing I love is that since you apply it with a brush (I use the Sedona Lace 561) you have much more control over where it goes and it just turns out so well every time. This is honestly the one I reach for 9 times out of 10 when I want to wear eyeliner. (I was also wearing this in my would you rather beauty tag video if you'd like to see it on.) I definitely recommend it to you guys. :)

My collection of Bath and Body lotions

I have quite a few Bath and Body lotions because they tend to have sells where you can buy 3 of the small ones and get them cheaper and I love them so I'm always buying more. Above from left to right I have: Coconut lime breeze, Pure Paradise , Japanese cherry blossom, Moonlight path, Paris Amour, Malibu heat, and Capri seaside citrus. My favorite out of these is the Coconut lime breeze not only because I love the scent but because my bf actually likes this one and he is VERY picky about the scents of my body lotions and things. lol I also quite like the Malibu heat one because that goes along with another product I have from the same collection (which I will have a review on coming up soon!). This one, Warm vanilla sugar, was given to me by a friend. I had actually seen this when I was shopping one day and REALLY wanted it, but I couldn't get it at the time and then when she gave me my Christmas gift I opened it and this was in there and I nearly screamed in exciteme

Real Techniques Powder Brush Review

Hey guys!! I recently purchased the Real Techniques Powder Brush. I have been wanting to get this for a long time now and finally got around to it. I'll start off by saying I LOVE this brush, it has absolutely no fall out at all, it applies my powder flawlessly, and it is SUPER soft. I also like that it is made so that it can set up on it's own because the bottom is flat. I will definitely be purchasing some more Real Techniques brushes because they have excellent quality as well as an excellent price. If you guys haven't yet you should definitely consider purchasing this.

Laura Mercier Mineral Illuminating Powder Review

Hey guys!! I purchased this a couple months ago so I thought now would be a good time to do a review. I have the one in the color "starlight". It comes in a cute little box and has very nice and durable packaging, my only complaint with the packaging is that I wish there was a way to keep the powder from coming out into the top because when you take it on or off you can lose some product and it costs so much it pains me to lose ANY of it like that. Quality wise I absolutely love this product, it's very pretty and shimmery and creates a really nice glow to your skin. One thing I did notice is that I think this might have contributed to my skin breaking out more, but it was very minor and I'm not certain it was the product itself. So over-all I love this and would recommend it in a second to you guys. If you'd like to see it on I also use this product on my Neutral Everyday Make up tutorial on youtube so you guys can check that out here .

Clean & Clear night relaxing deep cleaning face wash review

Hey guys!! Today I'm going to do a review on the Clean & Clear night relaxing deep cleaning face wash. Originally I got this as a sample when I purchased the Clean & Clear morning burst facial cleanser and I decided to try it out and if I liked it I would buy some. I actually really do like this product, it says it's deep cleaning and it really does make my skin feel really clean, especially if I use it right after taking my make up off with make up remover, it feels like I get all of it off completely with this. I do wish there was a moisturizer that went with this product, but I've been using my Clean & Clear morning glow moisturizer with it and together they make my skin feel SUPER soft and smooth. And my skin also looks a bit clearer so far from using this at night. So I would definitely recommend this to you guys!

Sedona Lace 168 color pallette review (AND SWATCHES) Part 1

I got my Sedona Lace palette for Christmas this past year and it came and very nice durable packaging as well as being VERY well protected with bubble wrap. The packaging in a nice sturdy black case with two separate trays, one on top of the other. I really really like having so many colors to choose from and it is very good quality eye shadow. The biggest majority of it has excellent color pay off and you don't need much; a few of the colors don't really show up for me, but maybe it's due to how pale my skin is and not the shadow's themselves. The shadow's in the palette range from being very powdery, to creamy, to kinda dry and rough. The latter of which are the ones that don't seem to have much color pay off at all. But the other textures show up quite nicely (with the exception of the lightest shades but as said my skin is very pale so they kinda just blend in for me).  Here is the entire palette to show you guys all the different colors you get

Bare Mineral's Eyeshadow Review

Hey guys, sorry about not posting anything for so long, but today I thought I'd do a review on some new eye shadows I got from Bare Mineral's. I got 3 colors: Sterling silver, gold, and  motivate(a slightly shimmery dark brown color). Here I have the gold on the left, then motivate in the middle, and sterling silver on the right. They are all very pretty and SUPER pigmented, I only needed two swipes per lid to get a lot of color. I'm not 100% crazy on the packaging, but once I figured out how to get it out and that I didn't need much at a time it isn't so bad. You just have to tap a little out into the lid and dip your brush in that. Even on a relatively hot day (upper 80's) it seems to stay on good with a primer and last quite a while without creasing so it definitely has good lasting time. Overall i'd definitely recommend this product and buy it again cause I really like it. :)
