Pacifica Power of Love Natural Lipstick Review

Hey guys!! Today I wanted to review the Pacifica Power of Love Natural Lipstick!  :) I recently received this in my first glam bag from Ipsy. This has a very nice creamy texture and goes on quite smoothly. It seems to have pretty good lasting power, but if you eat or drink anything you'll need to reapply. I haven't found many lipsticks this doesn't happen with though so that's not a big issue. I did notice if I skip applying chapstick before this then if my lips are at all dry it shows,  so make sure to moisturize first. The only thing I don't like so much is the color since I didn't choose it. It's very close to my natural lip color, maybe a little lighter. So it doesn't necessarily show up all that well on me.  If any of you guys are interested in subscribing to Ipsy, this is my referral link:  https://www.ipsy.com/new?refer=vn1xc  and if you guys use it to subscribe I can get more points so I have even more items to review

What's in my First Glam Bag?? (December 2015)

Hey guys!! I know this post is later in the week than normal, but I knew I was getting this for Christmas so I really wanted to wait and do this post. This is my first ever Glam Bag from Ipsy and I'm super excited. The way I've decided to do these posts is every month I'll do one post on what I got and then I'll review the items individually as I try them out! :) This months bag is a very pretty red Christmassy bag. I received: Clark's Botanicals Deep Moisture Mask Benefit they're Real Mascara Be a Bombshell Eyeliner Pacifica Power of Love Natural Lipstick Befine Food Skin Care Exfoliating Cleanser with Brown Sugar,Sweet Almond, and Oats

Covergirl Outlast Lipstick Review (Amazing Auburn and Pink Pow!)

Hey guys!! Today I thought I'd review the Covergirl Outlast Lipstick. :) I have the colors Amazing Auburn (the red) and Pink Pow! (Obviously the pink lol) I actually really really like these. They have great pigmentation so you get a lot of color and you can also build it up or make it lighter.  These also have pretty good lasting power. I really don't have to touch them up much, and they aren't too drying either.  If you eat or drink something that's the only time you may need to reapply and these even last through that to an extent. The only negative of these is after wearing a while they can settle into the lines of your lips some,  but if you just reapply it's fine. :)

How People Use Youtube Presentation

In this video I talk about ways in which people use Youtube the most. The list I'm talking about here is actually the top ways people make money with Youtube, but these are also some of the most popular video types. The most popular type was celebrity gossip videos. The second most common was educational videos, followed by products reviews, how-to videos, and gaming walk-throughs. Information found is from:  http://www.therichest.com/business/technology/make-money-on-youtube-with-these-5-types-of-videos/?view=all .

OGX Repairing Awapuhi Ginger Shampoo and Conditioner Review

Today I wanted to review the OGX Awapuhi Ginger shampoo and conditioner, I've been using this for about 2 months now. I really really like the smell of this and when I first started using it, it seemed like it was helping with my frizz and making my hair softer (very very soft actually), so I even bought some more of it before writing this just to see if that would continue. Unfortunately in the last week or so my hair has started feeling dry, I'm not sure if it is this or the change in weather here, but this just doesn't seem to be working for my hair anymore right now. I am going to continue trying out a few more shampoo's and conditioner's from this brand though, because I do like them. :) Have any of you guys tried this brand? Do you like it? or Do you have any recommendations of products I should try? (from this brand or others)

I'm afraid of presentations

Hey guys!! So something I'm sure you guys don't know about me is that I'm afraid of doing presentations at school. I was homeschooled from 5th grade throughout high school so this isn't something I've really had any problems with until college (well I started early college at 16, so I did deal with it some while in high school but not much). Because of this fact, I wanted to give you guys a heads-up, in a week or so I will be posting a project for school on my blog and Youtube Channel. Instead of having to present in class my teacher is allowing me to do that instead. My project will be on "How People Use Youtube" so if you guys are interested in that, feel free to check it out, if not, it's just for school so I shouldn't be doing anymore posts like that (unless it's for school at a later date) so you can just skip over that post. :)

Ipsy subscription!!!! :)

Hey guys!! So as a Christmas gift my dad has bought me a Ipsy subscription,  now if you don't know Ipsy is a company owned my Michelle Phan, if you subscribe you can get a makeup bag with like 5 different products in sample and full sizes every month. So that means now that every month I'll be doing a "What's in my glam bag?" Post and also reviewing a ton of new products for you guys!! :D If any of you would be interested I also have a referral code you can use https://www.ipsy.com/new?refer=vn1xc  which if you use it will help me earn points so I can get even more products to review for you. :D

The Drug Store Make Up Tag

1. What is your favorite drugstore makeup brand overall?   That's a really hard questions because I use a variety of brands, but I'd have to say either Maybelline or Covergirl is my favorite.  I'd probably have to go with Maybelline because I love their mascaras. 2. What are your favorite face, cheek and lip products? Hmm I think my favorite face product right now is probably the Maybelline Fit Me Foundation. I really don't have a favorite cheek product because I don't use blush. My fav lip product right now is probably the Hard Candy Fierce Effects Lip Gloss in Make Me Blush. 3.Least favourite product? There are not many products I dislike but I'm not a huge fan of the Maybelline Super Stay 14th lipsticks. I find it drying. 4.What is your best makeup bargain?   Basically any ELF product is an amazing deal. 5.What is your favourite underdog product? (something you love that often gets overlooked)   I'm not really sure I have a favorite that gets

Bare Minerals Original Powder Foundation Review

Hey guys!! Today I thought I'd review the Bare Minerals Original Powder Foundation. I was really really hoping I'd like this. I love Bare Minerals eyeshadows so I had high hopes. Personally though, I don't love it, I think it makes my skin  look pretty dull when I use it. It also has very little coverage, maybe that's normal for powder foundation?  This is the first I've tried so I'm not sure, but on the days where I feel I need that little coverage I don't tend to wear any makeup so I really haven't used this much. On the bright side it matches my skin tone very well and is quite easy to blend (is blending even a word to use with powder? Lol). I will still try this a few more times as I have a lot left but I likely will not be repurchasing it. Have any of you guys tried this? Did you like it?

Face of the Day #4 Thanksgiving Inspired

Face:  Maybelline Fit Me Foundation in Porcelain Covergirl Concealer in lightest shade Covergirl Clean Pressed Powder NYC Sun'n'nBronze Bronzer Avon All Over Face Powder in Color Bloom as Highlighter Eyes: Sedona Lace eyeshadow. I've used a sparkly cranberry color on the lid, a dark sparkly brown through my crease, and a matte plum shade to blend it all out. I also used a cream shade as a highlighter under my brow bone and in the corners. Maybelline Mega Plush Volume Express Mascara If you have the 168 color palette it is the colors I have pointed out in this photo :) Lips: Mac Pure Heroine, I used a very light touch when applying this so that it was a more plum shade, rather than bright purple.

Hey guys!! I'm so sorry I haven't posted the last couple weeks, I've been very busy with College and church activities, but I'm gonna try to get back on schedule. So today I decided to do the 20 Questions tag!! :) 1.Thing you cannot leave the house without? I cannot leave the house without gum. 2.Favorite brand of makeup? Rue21, JC Penny, Victoria Secret 5.Fav perfume? Hmm I'm not sure I have one, I don't wear a lot of perfume normally. 6.Heels or flats? Heels for sure. 7.Do you make good grades? My Jewlery Collection: Necklaces part 2

This is the necklace the charms from  part 1  go to. These last two necklaces are my favorite because they were given to me by my boyfriend.  This first one he actually gave me around when we first became friends, he gave me the charm and said I could make something,  like a necklace, with it. This one he gave me the first Christmas we were together.  This is by far the one I wear the most,  which you may have noticed, especially if you follow me on instagram ( katieshelton19 ).

My Jewlery Collection: Necklaces Part 1

Today I thought I'd share my necklace collection with you guys. This is only part one, which is funny considering there are only 2 I really wear often lol These little charms go with another necklace, but I thought I'd include them here. :)

Better Homes and Gardens Wax Warmer Review

Hey guys! Today since it's finally getting cooler, and I tend to use this way more when it's cool, I thought it'd be a great time to tell you guys about the Better Homes and Gardens Wax Warmer. This was given to me last Christmas by my boyfriend,  because he knows I don't like fire, but like the look and smell of candles. And I absolutely love it. He got me the starter kit so it came with 4 different waxes, my favorite being vanilla caramel spice. That is by far the one I use the most. The wax warmer looks very pretty as well, and as you can see I set up 4 little led candles around it which all together look really nice, especially in the dark,  the picture doesn't really do it justice. And it's also great because Walmart has an entire aisle of wax warmers and waxes, so I can always find new ones and the wax cubes aren't very expensive either. You can also use them for a very long time because when you are ready to turn the warmer off you just po

OGX Smooth Hydration Argan Oil and Shea Butter Shampoo and Conditioner Review

Ok guys, so as you may or may not know from reading my blog, my hair has not been cooperating lately,  it's been very very frizzy and nothing I've done seems to help. Because of that,  I've been looking for a new shampoo and conditioner to try to  see if switching that would help any. In  that search I came across these, I saw the brand in one of Zoella ' s favorites videos. I looked through the options and decided to try this kind because it claims to help with frizzy hair. Since I've now finished these bottles I feel I can review it now. After using it for about 2 weeks, I honestly don't think it did anything to help my hair. I did notice on a low humidity day that my hair seemed to look nice, but I happen to live in the south where it's very humid during the summers especially so something that doesn't stand up against humidity just doesn't work for me. If you live somewhere with low humidity then I think this could work great for you,

Bare Minerals Eyeshadow Review (Stardust)

Hey guys!! Today I wanna review the eyeshadow color Stardust from Bare Minerals. :) I really really like Bare Minerals so I always expect good things from them,  and this eyeshadows quality is just as good as the others. It has good pigmentation and I don't have problems with creasing (when I use a primer). The only negative I can see with this, once you build the color up to a certain point it looks more bluish than purple, at least on me. So I do wish it'd maintain more of the purple color but other than that I love it and would definitely recommend it. :)
