NYC Sun 'n' Bronze Bronzer Review

So whilst birthday shopping I was on the hunt for a new bronzer. I haven't really been too into using them in the past because with my skin being so light, I have been afraid of it making me look orange.

With that in mind I was looking for something with a dark enough color to give me a slightly tanned look, but with light enough color I didn't look orange.

The solution? Finding a bronzer with a mixture of colors. I managed to find a few and this one from NYC caught my attention. It wasn't overly pricey, and had a very nice mixture of colors.

I have to say I really like it, it does exactly what I wanted, if I mix the colors together then tap off the brush then I get the right amount of color so that I don't look too dark, just nicely tan and glowy.

Now I do have one little problem with this bronzer, as much as I like the color and effect it has, it breaks. As you can see pieces are just coming out of the tray, this means I have to be quite careful with it or else I might loose some of the powder and therefor the color. Because of this it will be hard for me to take this with me anywhere because I'm afraid it'd be completely broken by the time I got it there. I'm not sure if it's only gonna be the edges that do this or if it'll all break eventually, but this is an issue for me.

So this is what happened when I took it to the beach. It had already had a little more breaking to begin with, but after traveling with it, it's in pieces. It was handled with care, it wasn't thrown around, the case should've protected it well enough, yet this still happened. This Bronzer really has no durability at all, and I now have to be quite careful to use it.

That being said, since I do like the color I may buy it again because as I said it didn't cost that much, but I do wish they'd fix this issue. However, if it still continues to do this every time, I wouldn't try it again unless I heard they fixed it.
Have any of you guys had this problem with this? Is it just me?

What you should know about dating a gamer

Hey guys!! I wanted to do a slightly different kind of post today, my boyfriend is a gamer and so I thought it could be fun to do a post on what you should know about dating a gamer, and the best part? This list is gamer approved. :) lol 1. Gamers will game... alot. If you are going to date a gamer you have to understand this, gaming is part of what he loves doing, especially if he's hardcore gamer, so don't be one of those girlfriends who's constantly trying to make him stop playing, gamers don't like that at all. You shouldn't try and change him, but accept who he is, or other option find a guy who isn't a gamer. lol 2. Sometimes,  it will take an eternity to get a text back,  or he forgets. You'll get used to it. There are just some games where you can't pause them or they are just too difficult for him to text you back quickly. If he likes this game: that can be especially true. And trust me I've played it, he

Getting my Belly Button Pierced

(Photo by Grace, Southern Grace Photography) So I did something super exciting and scary recently. I got my belly pierced!! I researched and found a awesome tattoo shop called Golden Spiral Tattoo, I totally recommend them btw. I went with my fiance and we told them what we were there for and I gave them my ID and signed the papers after the piercing artist did a short 'consultation' which was basically just looking at and feeling my belly button area. She told me because I bend right at my belly button when I sit and stuff I would need to be sure to sit up straight, but it looked good and she could do it. We went back with her to a little room and she cleaned around my belly button and marked where to pierce with her maker and measured the area. She had a few different belly rods I guess? laying out for me to choose from so I chose a small diamond looking one (pictured obviously lol) and she sanitized it. She had me lay on the table and adjust

Loreal True Match Foundation Review

I've had this for a few months now so I decided it was time to do a review. I have the color Alabaster which is a cool shade. It actually matches my skin tone perfectly so that's a really big plus. This lasts all day long, but on me it doesn't really help all that much with my skin getting oily/shiny looking. I actually think this might make my skin look MORE shiny because it has a bit of a dewy finish (which is great if your skin isn't already oily). That being said I do like this, but I'm not sure I'll repurchase it because of the shine factor but I think if you have normal or dry skin then this would be something good to try and they have plenty of shades so it's a good chance you'll be able to find your skin tone.
