New blog post series-- What's that type of make up for?

Hey guys! So a month or so I go, I was at church and talking to my younger cousin, Grace. Well we started to talk about make up, because she will be old enough to wear it in a little over a year, and she started asking me what different products were and what they were for, and what they did. So I tried to explain a large variety of them, but she gave me an idea for a blog post series.

So I'm starting a short series I'm calling, "What's that make up for?", and will be posting about various types of make up all separately, so one post for foundation, one for concealer etc.

I'm probably still gonna have some reviews and stuff in between, but I'm just gonna see where it goes.

Hopefully this post can not only help my younger cousin, but also any other younger, or older, girls who don't know much about make up yet.

I'm definitely not claiming to be an expert by any means, but I'm gonna do my best to explain it all. If I miss anything you guys are curious about or if you want me to attempt to  be more thorough please feel free to ask me in the comments! :)

What you should know about dating a gamer

Hey guys!! I wanted to do a slightly different kind of post today, my boyfriend is a gamer and so I thought it could be fun to do a post on what you should know about dating a gamer, and the best part? This list is gamer approved. :) lol 1. Gamers will game... alot. If you are going to date a gamer you have to understand this, gaming is part of what he loves doing, especially if he's hardcore gamer, so don't be one of those girlfriends who's constantly trying to make him stop playing, gamers don't like that at all. You shouldn't try and change him, but accept who he is, or other option find a guy who isn't a gamer. lol 2. Sometimes,  it will take an eternity to get a text back,  or he forgets. You'll get used to it. There are just some games where you can't pause them or they are just too difficult for him to text you back quickly. If he likes this game: that can be especially true. And trust me I've played it, he

Getting my Belly Button Pierced

(Photo by Grace, Southern Grace Photography) So I did something super exciting and scary recently. I got my belly pierced!! I researched and found a awesome tattoo shop called Golden Spiral Tattoo, I totally recommend them btw. I went with my fiance and we told them what we were there for and I gave them my ID and signed the papers after the piercing artist did a short 'consultation' which was basically just looking at and feeling my belly button area. She told me because I bend right at my belly button when I sit and stuff I would need to be sure to sit up straight, but it looked good and she could do it. We went back with her to a little room and she cleaned around my belly button and marked where to pierce with her maker and measured the area. She had a few different belly rods I guess? laying out for me to choose from so I chose a small diamond looking one (pictured obviously lol) and she sanitized it. She had me lay on the table and adjust

Loreal True Match Foundation Review

I've had this for a few months now so I decided it was time to do a review. I have the color Alabaster which is a cool shade. It actually matches my skin tone perfectly so that's a really big plus. This lasts all day long, but on me it doesn't really help all that much with my skin getting oily/shiny looking. I actually think this might make my skin look MORE shiny because it has a bit of a dewy finish (which is great if your skin isn't already oily). That being said I do like this, but I'm not sure I'll repurchase it because of the shine factor but I think if you have normal or dry skin then this would be something good to try and they have plenty of shades so it's a good chance you'll be able to find your skin tone.
