Zoella Colourpop Lip Sets Review


Hey guys!! Today I am gonna review the Zoella Brunch date lip combo's from Colourpop.



Give us the Gloss (Bossy and Self Love Club Combo) Collection:

The colors in this set compliment each other very well and look great on. They have great staying power, until you eat. Now what I ate with this on was admittedly greasy, but this not only ended up coming mostly off the lips (other than the liner) but got on my chin and stuff as well. So while this is gorgeous, you do need to be mindful of what you will be eating and be aware you will need to touch it up after meals. Other than that I quite like it though. 


What Happens At Brunch (Oh Snap and @Me Combo) Collection:

This is a nude pink color.  These really compliment each other and Zoe did a great job pairing colors. The pencil is smooth and glides on and the matte lip goes on very easily and can be built up. You have to apply ALOT before it gets cakey. It lasts most of the day, the pencil lasts all day and the matte lipstick lasts through to lunch, and even then only comes off ever so slightly on the inner lip area. I very much like this combo.


My Day Ones (Little One Combo) Collection:

This is on the slightly pinky nude side, I quite like it. The pencil glides on effortlessly and stays great all day. The matte lipstick is very easy to apply and doesn't get too cakey. It stays on quite well, even when you eat, the only place you need to fix is the inner lip area, but even that isn't aweful. I quite like these together and think they compliment very well. They also go with basically any look and look very cute and classy.

Nyx Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick Review

Hey guys!! How was your week? Has school started back for you guys yet? My college recently started back so that's been interesting to balance with work. Today I thought I'd review the Nyx Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick in Kitten Heels.  I really really REALLY love this color and this lipstick in general.  This is my first ever liquid lipstick and I think it's awesome.  If you aren't familiar with liquid lipsticks,  they go on like a gloss, but dry like a matte or in  this case a cream lipstick. This one is gorgeous.  I'm actually really glad my boyfriend encouraged me to get this color (ok so I made him pick one... lol). This has pretty good lasting power to. It will need to be touched up after eating or drinking alot, but I feel like that's pretty normal for most lipsticks.  I would absolutely recommend this to you guys to try though,  it isn't too expensive and it's awesome. ^_^

Maybelline Color Sensational in Wickedly White Review

  Ok guys, so I bought this a few months ago because I found out they had came out with a ton of new colors in this line and thought it would be cool to try.   The reason I haven't reviewed it is because I CAN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO WEAR IT!! I have never had a white lipstick before and I have not found any way so far that this looks nice.   As far as the quality of these lipsticks, the quality is fine. They have decent lasting power (you would only need a few touch ups throughout the day...more if you eat and drink a lot) and they feel nice, but yeah I have no clue how to wear it.   Have any of you guys had a white lipstick before? Any other beauty gurus have any good ideas of how to wear this??

Getting my Belly Button Pierced

(Photo by Grace, Southern Grace Photography) So I did something super exciting and scary recently. I got my belly pierced!! I researched and found a awesome tattoo shop called Golden Spiral Tattoo, I totally recommend them btw. I went with my fiance and we told them what we were there for and I gave them my ID and signed the papers after the piercing artist did a short 'consultation' which was basically just looking at and feeling my belly button area. She told me because I bend right at my belly button when I sit and stuff I would need to be sure to sit up straight, but it looked good and she could do it. We went back with her to a little room and she cleaned around my belly button and marked where to pierce with her maker and measured the area. She had a few different belly rods I guess? laying out for me to choose from so I chose a small diamond looking one (pictured obviously lol) and she sanitized it. She had me lay on the table and adjust...
