Bath and Body Haul (Winter soaps 2016)


Winter Candy Apple: Ok so you guys already know my love for this scent (and if you don't, where have you been? lol). This scent has such a nice sweet appley cider scent and I just love it (I actually got 2!)

Christmas Morning: This scent reminds me of a pine tree. It has a hint of sweetness but mostly all pine. I suppose that makes sense since that is usually the type of tree you have for Christmas.

A Thousand Wishes: I'm debating if this scent reminds me of a very mature scent or if it just reminds me of that medicine you took as a kid. Not sure how  I feel about this...

Vanilla Bean Noel: This is sickenly sweet, if you love super sweet scents then you will love this.

Tis' the Season: This has cinnamon undertones but is still pleasantly sweet. It's kinda like going into a Christmas Mouse.

Vanilla Snowflake: This is also pretty sweet, a bit much for me personally, but it is a nice scent.

Twisted Peppermint: This truthfully just smells like peppermint. It's very nice.

Merry Cookie: This one smells like sugar cookies and icing. I actually like it.

Holly Jolly Berry: This smells like a more mature version of bubble bath.

Getting my Belly Button Pierced

(Photo by Grace, Southern Grace Photography) So I did something super exciting and scary recently. I got my belly pierced!! I researched and found a awesome tattoo shop called Golden Spiral Tattoo, I totally recommend them btw. I went with my fiance and we told them what we were there for and I gave them my ID and signed the papers after the piercing artist did a short 'consultation' which was basically just looking at and feeling my belly button area. She told me because I bend right at my belly button when I sit and stuff I would need to be sure to sit up straight, but it looked good and she could do it. We went back with her to a little room and she cleaned around my belly button and marked where to pierce with her maker and measured the area. She had a few different belly rods I guess? laying out for me to choose from so I chose a small diamond looking one (pictured obviously lol) and she sanitized it. Loreal True Match Foundation Review

I've had this for a few months now so I decided it was time to do a review. I have the color Alabaster which is a cool shade. It actually matches my skin tone perfectly so that's a really big plus. This lasts all day long, but on me it doesn't really help all that much with my skin getting oily/shiny looking. I actually think this might make my skin look MORE shiny because it has a bit of a dewy finish (which is great if your skin isn't already oily). That being said I do like this, but I'm not sure I'll repurchase it because of the shine factor but I think if you have normal or dry skin then this would be something good to try and they have plenty of shades so it's a good chance you'll be able to find your skin tone.
