MAC Matte Lipstick Review (Lingering Kiss)

Today I decided to do a review on a MAC lipstick I bought about a month ago. I really like MAC products and since I was a given a Belk gift card when I graduated in May I thought I would take advantage of it and purchase my first MAC lipstick.

After careful consideration I decided to take a risk and buy the color 'Lingering Kiss'.

Now let me say first, I'm in LOVE with the color, however, I'm not used to using a Matte lipstick and therefor didn't realize that matte lipsticks are much harder to work with and much less forgiving. The results is that I can't seem to get this to work for me as of yet. When i try it, it only goes on the outer part of my lips, I can't seem to get it to cover them fully.

Although I don't think this looks too horrible I don't like to wear it like this so I really haven't been wearing it. If any of you guys have any tips for me on how to make this work I would LOVE to hear them because I really love this color and want to make it work for me.

So, would I buy this again? Until I figure out how to work with a Matte color I will not be repurchasing this. I did however already purchase another MAC lipstick that is NOT matte (review coming soon) and I love it! :)

Nyx Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick Review

Hey guys!! How was your week? Has school started back for you guys yet? My college recently started back so that's been interesting to balance with work. Today I thought I'd review the Nyx Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick in Kitten Heels. I really really REALLY love this color and this lipstick in general. This is my first ever liquid lipstick and I think it's awesome. If you aren't familiar with liquid lipsticks, they go on like a gloss, but dry like a matte or in this case a cream lipstick. This one is gorgeous. I'm actually really glad my boyfriend encouraged me to get this color (ok so I made him pick one... lol). This has pretty good lasting power to. It will need to be touched up after eating or drinking alot, but I feel like that's pretty normal for most lipsticks. I would absolutely recommend this to you guys to try though, it isn't too expensive and it's awesome. ^_^

Maybelline Color Sensational in Wickedly White Review

Ok guys, so I bought this a few months ago because I found out they had came out with a ton of new colors in this line and thought it would be cool to try. The reason I haven't reviewed it is because I CAN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO WEAR IT!! I have never had a white lipstick before and I have not found any way so far that this looks nice. As far as the quality of these lipsticks, the quality is fine. They have decent lasting power (you would only need a few touch ups throughout the day...more if you eat and drink a lot) and they feel nice, but yeah I have no clue how to wear it. Have any of you guys had a white lipstick before? Any other beauty gurus have any good ideas of how to wear this??

Getting my Belly Button Pierced

I researched and found a awesome tattoo shop called Golden Spiral Tattoo, I totally recommend them btw. I went with my fiance and we told them what we were there for and I gave them my ID and signed the papers after the piercing artist did a short 'consultation' which was basically just looking at and feeling my belly button area. She told me because I bend right at my belly button when I sit and stuff I would need to be sure to sit up straight, but it looked good and she could do it. We went back with her to a little room and she cleaned around my belly button and marked where to pierce with her maker and measured the area. She had a few different belly rods I guess? laying out for me to choose from so I chose a small diamond looking one (pictured obviously lol) and she sanitized it. She had me lay on the table and adjust...
