What's that Makeup For?-- Lipgloss

Today I'll be talking a little about lipgloss, now I really don't think I need to explain it too much because I think the majority of people understand what lipgloss is and is used for, but just in case, lipgloss is something you put on your lips to add color as well as shine. It can also make lips appear fuller. It can be used alone or over lipstick to add some shine to various colors. In picture one I have on: Maybelline Fit Me Foundation, Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer, Covergirl Concealer, Covergirl Pressed Powder, Sedona Lace Eyeshadow, Maybelline Colossal Cat Eye Mascara, Sun'n'Bronze Bronzer, and Avon Color Bloom All Over Face Powder as a highlighter. In the Second I've added: Covergirl Lip Lava in Mauva Lava (870).

What's that Makeup For?-- Highlighter

Up this Week, Highlighter. Highlighter is used to do exactly what the name implies, highlight certain areas of your face. You apply it where the sun would naturally hit and create light on your face and it makes you look glowing. You can also use it to bring attention to your lips by applying it at your cupids bow or to make you look more bright and awake by applying it around your eyes under your brow bone and in the inner corners (typically I use a white eyeshadow to highlight these areas). In picture one I have on: Maybelline Fit Me Foundation, Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer, Covergirl Concealer, Covergirl Pressed Powder, Sedona Lace Eyeshadow, Maybelline Colossal Cat Eye Mascara, and Sun'n'Bronze Bronzer. In picture two I've added my Avon Cover Bloom All Over Face Powder as a Highlighter as well as some white Sedona Lace Eyeshadow.

Mini Great Clips Haul (BigSexyHair Products)

So I recently went yesterday and got my hair trimmed to get rid of some split ends because my hair had been looking quite frizzy lately. Whilst there I was made aware they were having a sale on all the BigSexyHair Products, all at $10.99 while they lasted and these are products that would normally be between $16-$25 a piece. So of course I had to pick up a few things to try out. I purchased 4 products to try out, well technically 3. My dad bought me one. I got: The BigSexyHair Volumizing Dry Shampoo The HealthySexyHair Soy Renewal Oil The BigSexyHair Powder Play and last but not least The HealthySexyHair Soy Tri-Wheat Leave-in-Conditioner. The stylists at the salon all had great things to say about these products so I have very high hopes for them. I've never tried any of them so as I try them out I will review them for you guys in the coming weeks/months and let you know what I think. :)

What's that Makeup For?-- Bronzer

This week I'm gonna talk about Bronzer, Bronzer is used to make you look more glowy and tanned. You put Bronzer in the places that the sun would naturally hit and make tan. You can also use Bronzer to contour you face and bring out your cheek bones and jaw line more. Now when applying Bronzer you do have to be careful because if it's too dark for you and/or you use too much it can make you appear orange instead of tan, a look no one wants. But if this happens you can just blend it out with your powder brush and it'll be fine. In the first picture I'm wearing: Maybelline Fit Me Foundation, Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer, Covergirl Concealer, Covergirl Powder, Sedona Lace Eyeshadow, and Maybelline Colossal Cat Eye Mascara. In the Second I've added my NYC Sun'n'bronze Bronzer.

So I just wanted to thank each and everyone of you guys who follows my blog or even if you don't follow me, just those of you who read my blog regularly. I really really appreciate it you guys. Thank you!!!!!! :D

What's that Makeup For?-- Mascara

Next up in my What's that Makeup for? Series is Mascara. Mascara is used to lengthen your lashes as well as make them look fuller. It comes in multiple colors just like eyeshadow, but typically people use black (my preference) and some use brown. In the first picture I have on: Maybelline Fit Me Foundation, Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer, Covergirl Concealer, Covergirl Powder, and Sedona Lace eyeshadow. In the second picture I've added my Maybelline Colossal Cat eye Mascara. Now my Mascara was drying up quite a bit so it doesn't really show up in the picture and show it's effects very well and I've since gotten a new one than the one pictured.
